A college student's experience with food. This isn't so much a diet blog as it is a way for me to see trends in what I'm eating.

I’ve broken my “healthy food” New Years’ Resolution again!  But it was oh so worth it. :)

(Back on campus in two days! Then food blogging shall recommence. :) But until then…)
Things that the Top Girl iPhone/iPad app might teach young girls
The only things that matter in life are money, booze, fashion, modeling, and boys.
A girl’s hotness is entirely defined by what she is wearing.
A guy’s manliness is entirely dependent on occupation and ability to mingle.
Hotness and manliness are the only attributes anyone needs to ever worry about.
"If I were bread, would you be my butter?" "As long as I can melt into you!" is an excellent example of intelligent conversation.
The only things required to keep a man are regular kisses, paying for dates, gifts, and engaging dialogue, such as the one above.
Yeppp.

Until the New Year’s, in case it wasn’t obvious before, this blog is on hiatus. Dorm food ain’t dorm food when it’s at home, after all. ;)

Dinner - dorm room
EGG DROP SOUP
Frozen blueberries
That’s right. My first attempt at cooking in the dorm kitchen was a success. Aww yeah. :)

tumblrbot asked
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?

Weighted companion cube

Heehee, I love tumblrbot! This question took me a while (aka almost a week and a half), but I’d have to say my favorite inanimate object of the moment is my portal weighted companion cube plushie. It’s so cute!!!

…What, you thought I’d respond with a picture of food? :P

Lunch - dorm room
5 Chessmen cookies
1 apple
As finals week approaches, my healthiness levels appear to be plummeting hopelessly. Damn.

Are these actually pictures of what you eat?

Oh man, don’t I wish. No - all these pictures are the result of much Googling. If you like what you see, feel free to click on any of the images to be brought to their original sources. One day, when I’m less poor, I might invest in a nice camera - and then this blog will actually contain pics of my food. Thanks for asking! :)

ARGH, DAMMIT. I’m not on a diet, but I’m also trying to be vaguely healthy. Saw a half-empty bag of Doritos in a lounge and…attacked. Late at night. Oops. :(

Dinner - dining hall, with a friend
Fried catfish
Salad
Pineapple
The casual meetup. It’s one thing I’m sure I’m going to sorely miss after graduation. How many times in your life do you have the unique opportunity to randomly knock on your neighbor’s door and ask if they’re up for dinner in fifteen? How often do you then get to swap zany stories about your day, rant about impending finals, and speculate on the randomness of the universe, all in one brief, unplanned meal? I love college.
